Discovery Center’s STEAM Bus comes to library July 11
On Monday July 11th, the Discovery Center’s mobile science laboratory will bring a hands-on experience that integrates skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) to the Williamson County Public Library’s main library in Franklin as part of Franklin Tomorrow’s FrankTalks lecture series.
Please join Jared Bryson, mobile education coordinator, aboard the STEAM Bus where there will be microscopes to investigate the normally unseen world of tiny creatures, plants, and fibers. You can also expect to encounter bugs, amphibians, reptiles and mammals in an exploration of the animal world.
There will be six sessions starting at 9 a.m. for 20-25 children each and availability will be on a first-come basis for sign up that morning. While you wait, you can go inside and enjoy the Williamson County Library and learn about all the activities it offers for children and adults!
