RSVP for your seat at On the Table

More than 15 public events are set for the inaugural On the Table initiative, kicking off Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Breakfast With the Mayors.

On the Table being organized by Franklin Tomorrow. It is a community engagement initiative with a simple premise: an opportunity for people to gather in small groups around a table with friends, neighbors, colleagues and maybe even a few people meeting for the first time, to share a meal and have a real conversation about what’s important to us.

A number of businesses, individuals and organizations are also hosting private events, but those who live, work, study, worship or play in Franklin are invited attend one or more of the public events listed below. Just click on the header and make your reservation. Most events are free to join and additional events are being added.

Don’t see an event that works for you? It is not too late to host your own On the Table event in your home or business. Training materials can be found on the On the Table website, under the “Table Resources” tab. There is also an eight-minute webinar on that site as well.

After conversations happen, participants share their outcomes by taking a post-survey. Survey results will be compiled, shared publicly, and used to help make decisions for our community.
