Welcome to 2023! This month’s FrankTalks lecture will kick off a little differently with a short performance by Backlight Production members to promote their upcoming show “Singin’ In The Rain.”

Backlight Productions was an award winner at Franklin Tomorrow’s Community Volunteer Awards for its work as a theater arts program for adults with Intellectual and developmental disabilities. For more information on their show or to purchase tickets, follow this link.

FrankTalks will focus in January on civility and civil discourse and we have invited David Plazas, Opinion and Engagement Director for the USA TODAY Network newsrooms in Tennessee and The Tennessean, along with Kalinda Fisher of The Great Reset and Ron Heady & Debra Fisher of Braver Angels, both of which work in the field of civil discourse.

The event will be held at Columbia State Community College-Williamson Campus located at 1228 Liberty Pike in Franklin, TN 37067. It will begin at 9 a.m. with a coffee social and the program at 9:30 a.m.
