Advocate
Advocacy can translate into a variety of actions, which include speaking out about issues, opportunities and challenges facing our community, but always from a base of knowledge and collaboration.
Since its founding in 2000, Franklin Tomorrow has taken the approach of listening and analyzing issues, opportunities and challenges from all sides. We share the research we gather with the citizens of Franklin through education and informational posts on our website and social media, as well as in programming.

We enjoy close working relationships with City of Franklin, its elected officials and staff, as well as those in Williamson County, who recognize our earnest efforts are aimed at accomplishing our mission to engage, collaborate and advocate with, and for, the citizens of Franklin.
In 2018 and 2019, Franklin Tomorrow organized the On The Table initiative, which brought more than 1,000 people together over a meal, snack or drink to discuss what’s good our community, the impact of engaged citizens, and how they get and stay involved.
Franklin, Tenn., was named an All-America City in 2020 by the National Civic League, in partnership with an application with Franklin Tomorrow. The 10 cities earning the designation as an All-America City were focused on celebrating examples of civic engagement practices that enhance health and well-being in local communities. NCL was looking for community-driven projects that demonstrate inclusive decision-making processes to enhance health and well-being for all, and particularly for populations currently experiencing poorer health outcomes.
