Mark your calendars today for Franklin Tomorrow’s second On The Table initiative, which will kick off on Tuesday, Nov. 5, with Breakfast With the Mayors at Rolling Hills Community Church.
In 2018, On The Table featured more than 20 public events held throughout the community or 30 private events held in homes or businesses. At this point in planning, we are looking for individuals to serve as a host or host site during the week of Nov. 5-9, 2019. It is our hope to have a civic fair on Saturday, Nov. 9, as the culmination of the week of On The Table discussions to allow participants to take action with nonprofits and organizations in our community addressing topics of concern.

We will have host training and discussion prior to the Nov. 5 kickoff and materials will be available online and can be translated. Can’t host but want to be part of one or more conversations? Opportunities exist for companies and individuals to support the On The Table 2019 conversations by being a partner. While hosts provide snacks or the meal to their guests, some events such as Breakfast With the Mayors and the Nov. 9 civic fair are staged by Franklin Tomorrow and its partners.
