Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce CEO Ralph Schulz accompanied Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson and Franklin Mayor Ken Moore at Franklin Tomorrow’s last 2021 Breakfast with the Mayors on Oct. 19, 2021.

At the event, Schulz presented a description of the 2020 Vital Signs report.

The 2020 Vital Signs report monitors issues affecting Middle Tennessee’s quality of life and economic development. The report, titled “Wisdom of Hindsight,” was released in April by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Policy and Research Center, who consorted with the Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC). The GNRC is federally designated as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Nashville area.

The report concentrates on four key issues that are currently impacting the Middle Tennessee region: housing, transportation, workforce and economic development, and infrastructure. It analyzes these issues with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, thus the title “Wisdom of Hindsight.”
