Some Franklin neighborhoods are apparently experiencing water taste issues already. A meeting is set for Monday, June 4, to discuss, according to this posting from City Administrator Eric Stuckey.
On behalf of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, the City Administrator and Water Management Department we’d like to invite you to an open house Monday, June 4 at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park Club House at 1343 Carnton Lane to discuss the recent water issues in your neighborhood. The meeting will be held from 6-7:30, it will be a come and go event. There will be water officials on hand to discuss how we are addressing the issue now, the steps we have taken in the last year, and what we plan to do in the future. For those interested we are offering tours of the water treatment plant located near the park. We appreciate your calls and comments via email and social media now is your chance to meet face to face with the dedicated team working on these issues. Please make plans to attend this important meeting.
Sincerely,
City of Franklin Administrator
Eric Stuckey
