James Page Jr., vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion at Vanderbilt University, speaks to the crowd at the Feb. 11 Franklin Tomorrow FrankTalks lecture at the Williamson County Performing Arts Theatre.

Vanderbilt University’s Vice Chancellor James E. Page Jr. led a thought-provoking discussion on Feb. 11 as part of Franklin Tomorrow’s monthly FrankTalks lecture series, presented by Williamson Medical Center as a sustaining partner and Renasant Bank as a presenting partner.
Page’s focus at Vanderbilt is equity, diversity and inclusion and during his hour-long lecture and conversation, he used interactive technology to ask two questions, “What word comes to mind when you hear Franklin, Tennessee” and “What word would you use to describe Franklin’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion?”

Thanks to the City of Franklin TV, you can watch the hour-long program below.
The next FrankTalks event is set for March 11 and will feature a “City Hall on Wheels” program.
