Five community organizations are banding together on Monday, Sept. 27, to present a Candidates’ Forum for those seeking office in the Oct. 26 City of Franklin election where the candidates will choose their question moments before answering it.

The forum will be held at Franklin City Hall, 5:30-7 p.m., and all candidates on the ballot have been invited to participate in this event being presented by Franklin Tomorrow, Leadership Franklin, Williamson County Association of REALTORS, Williamson Herald, and Williamson Inc.

Each candidate will be offered the chance to deliver a one-minute opening statement, as well as a one-minute closing statement. The candidates will answer individual questions which have been prepared by the presenting organizations but which are randomly selected through a blind draw by the candidate as the event occurs. There will be no advance knowledge of the questions by the candidates.

To find out who is on the ballot and what ward you vote in, visit the City of Franklin website.
