Franklin Tomorrow recently welcomed a new staff member, Staci Cox, as operations administrator. In this position, Cox will manage event and meeting coordination while upholding the overall mission and vision of Franklin Tomorrow to engage the community, foster collaboration, and advocate for a shared vision for the future of Franklin.

Staci Cox

New to Franklin, Cox recently moved from Hattiesburg, Miss., where she worked at United Way of Southeast Mississippi for three years as Director of Community Impact. At United Way, Cox worked closely with partner agencies to identify key initiatives for implementation and oversaw the process of funds distribution. Her prior work experience also includes seven years of student and faculty development at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services.
“We feel so lucky to add someone with Staci’s experience in community impact to our staff at this time, particularly as we undertake our new initiative, On the Table,” said Mindy Tate, Executive Director of Franklin Tomorrow. “Staci’s outgoing personality and great organizational skills further distinguished her as the right candidate for the job and she has hit the ground running.”
On the Table is a one-day opportunity for people to gather in small groups around a table with friends, neighbors, colleagues and maybe even a few people meeting for the first time, to share a meal and have a real conversation about what’s important to Franklin. Thursday, October 30 has been selected as the official date.
On the Table conversations are intended to inspire people to take action and seize opportunities in the community. Adding a diversity of voices provides unique discussions around varying issues that matter to the community. After conversations happen, participants will be asked to share their outcomes and provide feedback around topics discussed. Franklin Tomorrow will continue to share and discuss the findings to explore ways in which Franklin can work together to create the most engaged, generous and welcoming community for all.
