The deadline to submit nominations for Franklin Tomorrow’s 14th Annual Exemplary Community Volunteer Awards is this Thursday, October 15!  Do you know a person or company that goes above and beyond for the Franklin and Williamson County community? It is not too late to nominate them for one of many awards given as part of Franklin Tomorrow’s 14th annual Exemplary Community Volunteer Awards!

“It is so simple to nominate a community member or local company for this great event. Fill out a form and send us a short right up about someone you know that has shown great volunteer spirit so they can be honored this year,” Executive Director Mindy Tate said.

Awards are presented in a variety of categories to individuals, businesses and civic groups, with one new award this year. Being added this year is the Neighbor To Neighbor Award, which will be given to an individual or organization that has shown extreme generosity to its neighbors and has exceeded expectation in terms of giving back to the community.

The ceremony will be held Tuesday, November 17 at Rolling Hills Community Church. The event will be a virtual event and will be live streamed on Franklin Tomorrow’s Facebook page, YouTube channel and website. The nomination deadline is this Thursday, October 15, 2020. Additional information can be found in the online nomination form available at franklintomorrow.org/2020/09/14/nominations-now-open-for-exemplary-community-volunteer-awards-2/.
