Grab your cup of coffee and join us at Columbia State Community College for the Dec. 13 FrankTalks, featuring a panel of “People to Know,”

FrankTalks is presented monthly by Franklin Tomorrow with support from our sustaining partner, Williamson Medical Center, and our presenting partner, Renasant Bank.

Joining us for the Dec. 13 FrankTalks will be two newcomers to Franklin and Williamson County, and one longtime resident who recently authored a book about her adventure hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Jacquie Jordan recently moved to downtown Franklin and will be producing TEDx Franklin in spring 2022.

Maureen Thornton is the new CEO of Visit Franklin, which is also the Williamson County Convention & Visitors Bureau. She and her family relocated this year from Houston, Texas, for her to take on her new role.

Finally, Diane Harsha retired as a Special Agent of the FBI in 2014. Her book, “Sticks and Stones: How to Hike the Appalachian Trail in Thirteen Years,” was published by Scribemedia in June, 2021.

This book tells her story of walking 2,200 miles, one section at a time, from Georgia to Maine when she could take the time away from the demands of her career and the responsibilities to her family.
