After more than a decade of housing growth, Franklin officials want a clearer picture of the city’s housing supply and what trends are ahead in the next decade.
Franklin will spend $59,700 to hire Denver-based BBC Research & Consulting to study the city’s housing stock and determine what kind of housing developments should be encouraged, what gaps might exist and what developments are at risk of being overbuilt.
The study of the city’s overall housing supply was prompted by concerns about a boom in multifamily developments in recent months.
